I just discovered this movie. It's George Clooney's first big screen. The movie's OK, I guess. But the sondtrack is nothing short of astonishing. Overall it it has a roots rock border feel to it. The Blasters - a seriously tasty live cut of Stevie Ray (you can hear quite clearly what made those 3 guys HOT!) - Tito & Tarantula - my favorite is a wonderfully sleazy number from ZZ top called Mexican Blackbird. It also features Raul Malo back in The Mavericks day and some definitive Cheech Marin. This damn thing ROCKS.
